/>   物理与电子科学学院的办学历史可以追溯至1974年物理科，具有40余年的办学历史，开设了物理学、微电子科学与工程、电子科学与技术、光电信息科与工程4个本科专业。拥有教育硕士（学科教学物理）专业学位硕士点和信息与通信工程学术型硕士点（与其它学院共享）。2021届毕业生共计毕业生217人，其中物理师范专业毕业生119人，电子科学与技术专业51人，光电科学与工程专业47人。<br />   机械工程学院创办于1986年，是湖南理工学院历史悠久、规模最大的学院之一。现开设有机械设计制造及其自动化、机械电子工程、材料成型及控制工程等本科专业，并拥有机械工程一级学科硕士学位授权点、机械硕士专业学位授予权。 学院2021届本科毕业生共计302人、4个专业，其中本科机械设计制造及自动化专业141人，机械电子工程专业85人，材料成型及其控制专业33人，汽车服务工程40人；硕士研究生毕业生25人。</span></p><p
